She’s chipper, per usual – a smile and a warmth present in her expression and motions throughout the kitchen. The banner she hangs to signify that the shop is open for business, and she returns inside, taking in a deep breath.
No sooner than she returns behind the counter does the welcomed sound of the door sliding open greet her. She turns toward it and the person who has just entered, greeting them in return.
“Welcome! Please, have a seat anywhere, and let me know if I can get you anything.”
his steps were HEAVY, gaze cast down as he entered the room filled with fine-smelling scents of food prepared with care, and an air just as inviting as the thought of tasting one or two of the creations this place had to offer before facing the cruelty that was real life once again.
None of this, however, seemed to have much of an effect on this very hopeless looking individual. Body slumped in a most lifeless manner, he took seat at the counter to shoot the other a meaningful glance.
